UPDATED SALON POLICIES DUE TO COVID-19
WE REQUIRE THAT THE ONLY GUESTS IN THE SALON, BE THOSE
RECEIVING DIRECT SERVICES
MASKS: We will both need to be wearing a mask throughout the whole service. I ask that you arrive at the salon with your mask on. If you do not have one, let me know prior to your appointment and I can supply you with one. I will not be double booking so you can feel safe that you will be my only client during your appointment.
MY SCHEDULE: Due to social distancing, I will be taking only one client at a time, no double booking.
WHEN YOU ARRIVE: We are going to have to do things a little different. When you arrive I will ask that you text me letting me know you are here. I will need to disinfect and clean between all appointments, and do not want people running into each other. I will reply to your text when it is ok for you to come into the building.
YOUR APPOINTMENT: After I text you letting you know it is ok for you to come in, I will meet you at the door, walk you to my suite, and take your temperature with a contactless thermometer. If you show any signs of a fever, we will have to reschedule your appointment.
BLOW DRYING: Unfortunately I am not blow drying for the time being unless it is necessary to check your haircut. Please be prepared to leave with towel dried hair.
REFRESHMENTS: Though I love to pamper you with all the wine and kombucha, we can’t serve snacks or drinks right now, please bring your own if you would like something.
IF YOU ARE NOT FEELING WELL: If you have a cough or a fever, or are not feeling well, I need you to stay home and reschedule your appointment. This is non negotiable, I will get you booked again in a timely manner. I am waiving any and all cancellation fees until further notice, so please don’t worry if you need to cancel last minute. I will be doing the same if I don’t feel well.
PAYMENT: So we can all touch as little as possible, I am going to be doing contactless checkout. This means at the end of your appointment I will send you an invoice through email and you can pay from your phone.
ONLINE BOOKING: For now, you can not book your own appointments online. Due to scheduling changes, extra cleaning time, etc I have decided it is best for me to book all appointments until further notice. Email me, text me, call me! I will get you taken care of.
CANCELLATION POLICY : If you are unable to keep your reserved time, please cancel at least 24 hours (48 for services 90 minutes or more) before your scheduled appointment to avoid a $25 fee per service booked. If you have one service booked your fee will be $25, if you have multiple services booked, your fee will be $25 for each service booked (hair color and haircut booked = $50 fee for two services). I do of course understand that unavoidable issues come up and will do my best to work with you in case of an emergency.
LATE: Arriving 15 minutes late without prior notice may result in the need to reschedule.
CHILDREN: For the safety of your child and relaxation of you and other guests, I ask that any children accompanying an adult to the salon be able to be mindful of their surroundings and conduct themselves as they should in this type of relaxing environment.
PHONES: I provide free WiFi (password Magswifi) and ask that you keep your phone on silent when possible and keep phone conversations to a minimum for consideration of other guests.
ADJUSTMENTS: Please contact me within 7 days of any service should you feel it needs any adjusting.
PARKING: We have a parking lot for our guests.
